New Student Day will give you an excellent insight into life at Blackpool Sixth. It will allow you to get to know the sixth form better and will help prepare you for studying with us.

4th Subject Session – If you are still unsure of your subject choices here’s your opportunity to sample another

BTEC Work Experience – if you have selected a Double or Triple BTEC – you are strongly advised to select this option

Excellence Programme – 6Advance, EPQ, Russell Group universities for students targeting mainly grade 7 and above at GCSE

Career Ready – are you interested in a career in business and want some extra experience? Then Career Ready could be for you

LGBT+ – a workshop to learn more about the LGBT+ community and how we promote inclusion and celebrate diversity in college

Computer Programming – Learn the language behind the internet, video games and all your favourite apps

Debating Academy – Love to discuss and debate topical issues? Come and meet some like-minded students

Humanities Society – come and experience a Humanities/Politics Society taster

Maths Society – if you are taking A level Maths or Further Maths this group is ideal to extend your knowledge and to have some fun with numbers

Student Council/ Ambassadors – come and find out how this rewarding role can help you and others in the college and beyond

BTEC Dance – Please bring appropriate dance clothing.

BTEC Music – Please bring headphones, instruments not required.

BTEC Musical Theatre – Please wear clothes that allow ‘free movement’.

BTEC Sport Performance and Excellence – Please bring appropriate indoor kit.

BTEC Sport and Exercise Science – Please bring appropriate indoor kit.

BTEC Public Services – Please bring appropriate footwear.
