Medical Society

Medical Society is aimed at those students who are considering a career in medicine or dentistry. Competition for places on such degree courses is fierce and the goal of Medical Society is to develop the skills necessary to give the best possible chance of a successful application and interview. There is an application process to join, and you should have a good GCSE profile and be expecting to achieve AAA including chemistry.

  • Work experience at Blackpool Royal Victoria Hospital
  • First Aid
  • Visit to Bowland Mountain Rescue Centre
  • Fund raising for Brian House

Two major events in college

  • Multiple mini interview (MMI) day – a full day to mimic interviews for prestigious courses
  • Celebration evening where you will present what you have done and the skills you have gained
