2017 – 2018 Key Exam Dates

2017 Leavers BTEC coursework is available for collection from Monday 27th November 2017 to Wednesday 31st January 2018 after which it will be destroyed.

The Year 2 A Level Mock Examinations is planned for the week 15th to 19th January 2018

The Year 1 A Level Mock Assessment  is planned for the week 9th to 13th April 2018

Summer 2018 examination season is from  Monday 14th May to Friday 29th June 2018 

Summer 2018 Level 3 results day is Thursday 16th August 2018 

Summer 2018 GCSE/L2 Results Day is Thursday 23rd August 2018

Summer 2018 Examinations Schedule Information

Summer A-Level Language Oral Examinations 2018

 Individual student timetables will be released via email to students during the Spring term 2018.

Summer A-Level and A2 Examination Season 2018

  • Monday 14th May to Friday 29th June 2018.
  • There are no examinations during the Whit half term holiday, Monday 28th May to Friday 1st June 2018.  
  • The A-Level and A2 summer 2018 examinations timetable can be downloaded here.

Individual Summer 2018 Student Examination Timetables will be released to students on Friday 27th April 2018.    

 

Legacy AS Level Resits Summer Examination Season 2018  

For the following 10 subjects there is a final opportunity for current students to resit AS examinations in summer 2018

  • classical civilisation, law, film studies, media studies, music technology, ict, electronics, further maths, mathematics and statistics

The AS legacy summer 2018 examination timetable and associated costs can be downloaded here.

Students who are eligible to sit AS resit examinations will receive an individualised application form early in January. This will will need to be submitted to Examinations by Friday 9th February at 3 p.m. Payment will need to be completed at the time the application is submitted.

BTEC External Assessments during the 2017 –  2018 academic year.

Level 2 Public Services and Creative Media are scheduled to sit an eternal examination as part of the course and more information will be given here soon.

 

Summer 2018 Examinations Results Information

Level 3 Results day is Thursday 16th August 2018 for the following:

  • AS and A-Level
  • Level 3 BTEC
  • Level 3 ifs
  • Level 3 Extended Project
  • Certificate Sports Leadership and Higher Sports Leadership

Students will be informed of collection arrangements nearer the time.

 

L2 Results Day is Thursday 23rd August 2018 for the following:

  • GCSE
  • Level 2 BTEC
  • Level 2 ifs

Summer 2018 Examinations Post Results Information (further details will follow nearer the time)

AS/A2 and A-Level post results services for May/June 2018 results

These services will be available from results day. The Examinations team process the requests on the day of receipt as long as payment is received and the application form is signed and complete.

Enquiries about results

  • Priority Review of marking: This is an urgent application for a review of marking. This service should be used if you have a university place which depends on the result in question. Please be aware your mark could go up or down if re-marked. 
  • Standard Service Review of marking: This is an application for a review of marking.. Please be aware that your mark could go up or down if re-marked
  • Clerical Re-Check: A re-check of all clerical procedures. This service does not re-mark a script, but checks all of the administration processes relating to the script. 

Access to Scripts

  • Photocopy Scripts: A priority service to receive a copy of your script and accompanied by a mark sheet to decide whether it is appropriate to apply for a re-mark of your examination script
  • Original Scripts: Access to original script. Please be aware that if you request your original script you can not subsequently request a remark.
